ASPIRE Grants for the Congo Basin – 2021 call

The ASPIRE Grant Programme provides research grants of up to $5,000 USD for African graduate students and early career professionals working in the areas of biodiversity, conservation and environmental sustainability in the Congo Basin region.

The ASPIRE Grant Program is run by the Conservation Action Research Network (CARN), a member of the Congo Basin Institute (CBI).

Deadline for Applications: July 15, 2021

Eligibility:

  • Resident of one of the following countries: Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Central African Republic
  • 35 years of age or younger
  • Graduate student or early career professional, including trainees at regional wildlife colleges
